At this time the cost to construct the Knik Arm Bridge is roughly six hundred million dollars. Of that total the Federal Government has supplied 93.6 million that will require a nine million dollar state match. The remaining five hundred million dollars would have to be appropriated in future years and there is also discussion of borrowing the money through the issuance of bonds and paying the bods off by charging a toll on the bridge.
