(Juneau) - Chairman of the House Finance Public Safety Budget Committee, Representative Bill Stoltze (R-Mat-Su/Chugiak), will be holding a Public Safety Budget Committee meeting on Dec. 5th from 6-
8pm at Palmer Junior Middle School.
During the meeting the Commissioner of Public Safety, William Tandeske, will give an overview on
valley law enforcement issues, and listen to public comments. Among the issues to be discussed during
the Public Safety Budget Hearing will be the state’s role in law enforcement in the valley. Stoltze
also expects the methamphetamine/meth-lab crisis to be a major discussion point.

Representative Mark Neuman (R-Mat-Su) also serves as a member of the House Finance Budget
