(Anchorage) - The Senate Special Committee on Natural Gas Development will continue to examine the issues surrounding the Murkowski administration's Alaska Stranded Gas Draft Fiscal Contract with meetings in Fairbanks and Anchorage on July 6th and 7th.
These meetings are a continuation of the hearings that were held in Juneau during the special session. The roundtable discussions are also an opportunity for Alaskans to learn more about the proposal.
The basic structure of the contract, taking gas in-kind, fiscal certainty, the reserves tax and the PPT rate are just some of the issues that will be examined during the two days of hearings.
