The Governor has recently announced opportunities for the public to comment on the gas pipeline:

To comment on the Alaska Gas Pipeline Fiscal Interest Findings, visit http://commador.ursokr.com. There is an online form that you can use for comments. You can also submit written comments to the Department of Revenue, Commissioner's Office, PO Box 110430, Juneau, AK 99811-0430.

The deadline to comment on the Fiscal Interest Findings is 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 24, 2006.

The Governor has also announced that the Department of Revenue will be holding public forums in various locations across the state to obtain comments on the propersed Alaska Stranded Gas Contract. The Anchorage hearing will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2006, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the University of Alaska Consortium Library.

Another public forum will be held in Eagle River on Friday, July 21, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Eagle River Parks & Recreation Office, 11901 Business Boulevard, Suite 209.

Public forums will also be held in Juneau, Kenai, Fairbanks, Mat-Su, and Barrow.
