The Second Session of the 24th Alaska State Legislature has started in Juneau. Committees are meeting; legislation is being reviewed; and the session is underway. Want to keep track of what is going on in Juneau? Here are some suggestions:

Upcoming meetings of interest:
Tuesday, January 24, 2006, 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Alaska Railroad Project Open House will be help at the Historic Railroad Depot, 411 West First Avenue, Anchorage. Discussion of railroad projects located in the Anchorage area is on the agenda.
Saturday, February 25, 2006, time to be announced later. The Anchorage Caucus will hold a meeting on the UAA campus (exact location to be announced later). Anchorage legislators will be at the meeting to discuss items of interest and concern to Anchorage. As soon as we have further information, I will let you know.
