Juneau -- The cut-off date for registering to vote for the November 7th general election is October 8, 2000. Voter registration applications and change forms are available at the Kodiak Legislative Offices, located at 112 Mill Bay Road. You may also request a form to be sent to you by calling the Region I Elections Office (907) 465-3021 or by going online to: If you are unable to vote at your precinct on Election Day, Alaska law provides for the following ways to vote absentee. The above site will also provide additional information, which includes special needs voting for disabled voters. You may vote absentee in person from October 23rd through Election Day. Ballots for House District 6 and Senate District C will be available at the following locations. For information and times that they will be open, you can stop by or call these offices.
Ballots for all 40 districts will be available at the Kodiak airport and other major airports on Election Day beginning at 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Absentee ballots can also be mailed to the Region I Elections Office at: P.O.
