Support War on Terrorism & Support Peace

Expressing gratitude to President George W. Bush, to the President's cabinet, to the men and women of the United States armed forces, and to the United States Congress and declaring support for the war on terrorism and for the President's effort to support democracies and promote peace worldwide.

America's enemies believed their attack of September 11, 2001 would divide and weaken our nation. It has not. The purpose of HJR 33 is to, in a simple and straightforward manner, let it be known that Alaska is united and strong in its support of our nation's armed services.

It is clear the War on Terrorism will be difficult and lengthy. HJR 33 sends a message that Alaskans stand squarely behind this effort.
