Motor Vehicle Insurance Rates

"An Act relating to motor vehicle insurance rates."

It has come to my attention over the past year that insurance companies use discriminatory practices in determining insurance rates and viability to cover individuals.

Many states throughout the nation have started to introduce and pass legislation to prevent the practice.

I respectfully submit to you a CS for HB 467, which would prohibit the practice of using credit rating or credit scoring to determine issuance of policies or policy premiums.
