Temporary Water Use Permits

An Act relating to the use of water; and providing for an effective date.

Released: March 4, 2002

A statutory revision is needed to better facilitate the ability of the Department of Natural Resources to issue temporary water use permits. A repeal of the sunset clause included in last year's HB 185 is intended to protect the state's interests in water use distribution cases currently under appeal.
