(Kodiak) - District R Senator Gary Steven (R-Kodiak) and House District 36 Representative Dan Ogg (R-Kodiak) will hold a community meeting Thursday, May 29th, 2003 in the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly Chambers, starting at 7 pm.

"This year, the Legislature faced numerous issues impacting our local communities," Senator Stevens said. "This meeting will give us an opportunity to recap the session and talk about affects on Kodiak, and what's ahead for next year."

Representative Ogg said he welcomes the chance to meet with the people he serves. "Government works better when it responds to the needs of its constituents. The community meeting is one way of ensuring that process continues. I hope you will join us on Thursday night."
