(Juneau) - Representative Bob Lynn (R-Anchorage), is drafting a House Special Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs Resolution opposing a contract by the United States with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for protection of American seaports. Homeland Security is a direct concern of the Military and Veterans' Affairs Committee.
Representative Lynn states, "Given a government contract to the UAE for protection of ports would be like awarding a contract to a fox to watch chicken yards, or a contract with Mexico to guard America's southern border - it just doesn't make common sense."
Homeland security is critical to the public safety of all Americans, and the survival of the United States as a nation.
