"I want to be on the cutting-edge of information technology. My blog is one more way to communicate with constituents and others about what's going on in the legislature."
- Rep. Lynn
(JUNEAU) - Earlier today, Representative Bob Lynn (R-Anchorage) unveiled his "Lynn's Alaska Blog." He is the first member of the Alaska State Legislature to have his own blog site.
Representative Lynn will be using the blog (short for web log) site to inform the public about his day-to-day work and issues facing the legislature. His goal is to communicate with his constituents and people throughout the state of Alaska.
There are only about 25 state legislators in the country who have blogs. "I want to be on the cutting-edge of information technology. My blog is one more way to communicate with constituents and others about what's going on in the legislature. I'll also be including other items I hope people will find interesting," said Representative Lynn.
The blog can be found at: www.alaskadistrict31.blogspot.com. Representative Lynn invites everyone to view the blog and share their comments on the site.
