(JUNEAU) - On Thursday House Speaker Pete Kott (R-Eagle River) selected the House members of the Conference Committee that will work with the Senate on the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2004. Kott appointed House Finance Committee Co-Chairs Representative John Harris (R-Valdez) and Representative Bill Williams (R-Saxman), and Representative Eric Croft (D-Anchorage) to the Conference Committee. The Conference Committee, which contains members from both bodies of the Legislature, will discuss the differences between the House and Senate versions of the operating budget and approve a final version to send to the Governor for approval.
