(JUNEAU) - The Legislative Budget & Audit Committee will discuss the landmark decision by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on allowing access for potential customers to the proposed North Slope natural gas pipeline Friday, February 11, 2005 at 8:00 am in the Senate Finance Committee Room.

LB&A Counsel Don Shepler will meet with committee members to explain in detail how yesterday's ruling by FERC (Order No. 2005) on "open season" rules will help gas companies and consumers reserve capacity in the gas pipeline before construction begins.
