Dear Friends,

Funding for the Su Valley school roof continues to be my first priority for capital projects, and I will continue to pursue the course of action to put this project in the supplemental. Some claim that Valley delegates have reneged on their ‘promise’ that they would get the funding. We only promised to work hard to secure the funding and to make it a top Valley priority. Nothing has changed in that regard.

I am very concerned for the families associated with the Su Valley School and understand their apprehension over all the confusion. I have received numerous e-mails and phone calls requesting support and I assure you that we will do all that we can to secure funding.

We must all understand it is early in the legislative session and a decision about Su Valley roof cannot be answered with certainty at this time. We continue to fight.
