Urging adoption of the Alaska recommendations for implementing the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.

04-23-03 : The Alaska State Senate unanimously approved House Joint Resolution 13 by a vote of 20 to zero on Wednesday. Sponsored by the House Special Committee on Education, HJR 13 requests the U.S. Department of Education consider Alaska's unique challenges when implementing the No Child Left Behind Act.
HJR 18 will now be forwarded to the President of the United States, and our State's Congressional delegation.
