(Wrangell) - This is the time to speak up and speak out. The House and Senate Health, Education and Social Services Committees plan to work with the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations and to make it a user-friendlier state agency.

On November 5th you will have the opportunity to speak to the joint HESS committees about Dept. of Health & Social Service issues.

Commissioner Joel Gilbertson and newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Marcia Kennai will brief the committees and the public on restructuring DHSS. They will present program improvements that will enable them to meet their goals and to better serve consumers.
