Thank you for beating the drum on the Permanent Fund POMV (percent of market value) issue.

Having led and won that battle in the House two years ago and then fighting and losing that battle in the Senate, it is near and dear to my political heart.

Your recent editorials are right on the mark. POMV is just common sense.

Alaska is the wealthiest state in the nation. We do not have to live in self-imposed poverty. We also have to guard against a profligate spending binge, but that's why (I hope) we elect fiscally conservative legislators.
