(Anchorage) - The bipartisan Senate Majority Working Group has finalized the list of committee chairmanships for the upcoming 25th Alaska Legislature.
The Senate Majority Working Group has a broad range of political philosophies but we share many of the same goals. Construction of a North Slope natural gas pipeline, improving education and protecting children are just some of the issues we will work on over the next two years, said Sen. Lyda Green (R Wasilla).
The working group is committed to setting aside our differences and to leave politics out of the decision making process. Our focus will be to work together on legislation and policies that make a meaningful, positive difference in the lives of all Alaskans, said Sen. Johnny Ellis (D Anchorage)
