(JUNEAU) - Sen. Lyda Green, (R-Mat-Su) has released the makeup of this year's Senate Finance subcommittee membership. Subcommittee members are responsible for addressing the budget line items from each department within the administration.

Sen. Green is the new Senate Finance co-chair with purview over the state's operating budget. She says a great deal of effort went into choosing this year's subcommittee makeup.

"I am confident that with the steps being taken by the new governor and the makeup of this year's Finance committees and subcommittees in both bodies - we will be able to produce a fair and efficient budget for all of Alaska," said Green.

A list of the Senate Finance subcommittees and the membership assignments are attached to this release.
