The Legislature is currently considering the Petroleum Production Tax bill, a complicated piece of legislation that will affect the welfare of Alaska for many years to come. This week the Senate Finance Committee is meeting mornings, afternoons, and evenings to examine all aspects of this bill.
Despite the complexities of this bill, I can assure you that we are being thoroughly briefed, and that I will do what I believe is in the best long-term interests of the State of Alaska.
I hope you will take a few minutes to look into this very important issue.
Sincerely,
