(Juneau) - Representative Tom Anderson (R-East Anchorage), chairman of the Anchorage Caucus, announced today the next Anchorage Caucus will be held on January 27th at the State Capitol Building, Room 124 starting at 2:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive Mayor Mark Begich's presentation of the Municipality of Anchorage's legislative priority package.
"We are eager to have Mayor Begich present the Municipality of Anchorage's legislative priorities. Anchorage legislators recognize the State's fiscal direction is integral with the Municipality of Anchorage's budget formation. A partnership is essential to ensure Anchorage is adequately represented through the operating and capital budget deliberations." Anderson said.
The Anchorage Caucus is made up of all State Senate and House members representing the residents of the Municipality.
